Kendama Event in Tartu Estonia by Okendama

25th of september, Okendama, Tartu.

The Okendama OGang went to Tartu to spend the whole day there and to organize three different kendama jams.

We had the honor of organizing and participating in the first OKendama event in Estonia.

The first two events took a place at Tartu Variku kool. About 70 children participated. Numerous mini games have been played and we have introduced to kendama tricks and all the fun you can have with it. We talked about history, kendama movement in world, culture and of course there were many prizes and gifts from Okendama.

After the event, we went to the Old Town of Tartu to shoot some kendama clips and get ready for an evening competition at indoor Skatehall. On the way, we stopped at a local surf shop where the kids wanted to play game of ken with Okendama players.
Approaching Skatehall, about 20 children were already running to meet us. About 50 participants had come together to participate the last event of the day in Tartu.
For two hours we played a lot of mini games and the last activity was Game Of Ken to find out who is the best player in Tartu. This time it was Patrick Saraa.
